NEHAL SHETH, DPM
Nehal Sheth, DPM, is an exceptional podiatric medicine specialist at Chicago Foot Specialists in the Chicago Loop neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, and throughout the Chicagoland area. He looks beyond traditional interventions by incorporating alternative therapies into his patients’ personalized treatment plans. Dr. Sheth earned his undergraduate degree at Loyola University in Chicago before receiving his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, Illinois. He then completed a three-year intensive surgical residency at Mount Sinai Hospital and Lovell Federal Health Care Center. Through this prestigious residency, Dr. Sheth served patients in a Level 1 Trauma Setting, as well as veterans and their families. For patients at Chicago Foot Specialists, Dr. Sheth curates treatment plans that incorporate physical fitness, nutrition, and wellness. By tending to his patients holistically, patients often find their overall wellbeing increased after working with Dr. Sheth. When not at the office, you can find Dr. Sheth running along Lake Michigan, biking on his Peloton, at a Chicago sporting event, or spending time with his growing family. He and his wife rescued two greyhounds and recently welcomed a new baby girl.
MARK PINKOWSKI, D.P.M
Dr. Pinkowski is pleased to announce his newly formed partnership with Dr. Nehal K. Sheth in the endeavor to provide outstanding Podiatric care in Downtown Chicago. He prides himself in his empathetic and warm personality to foster a Doctor-Patient relationship that is key to forming a successful treatment plan. Dr. Pinkowski is a Chicago native and completed his Bachelor of Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He completed his medical education at the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University followed by a 3-year surgical residency training program at Mt. Sinai Hospital Chicago as well as the Lovell Federal Healthcare Center in North Chicago, Illinois. In his spare time Dr. Pinkowski enjoys various sports including basketball, disc golf, and beach volleyball to name a few. He enjoys outdoor activities including hiking, biking and fishing. He recently built a chicken coop which now hosts 6 wonderful chickens.
CHRISTINE HECK, DPM
Christine Heck, DPM has been actively practicing podiatric medicine and surgery in the Chicagoland area for 22 years. Working in Chicago, Melrose Park, and Lombard. Dr. Heck is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Christine was born and raised in Mandan, North Dakota. Christine was active in numerous sporting activities including cross country, soccer, basketball, softball, and track. She attended the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota where she received a scholarship to participate in cross country and track. She received a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training and Biology, a minor in Chemistry, followed by a Masters’s degree in Health Care Administration and a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Iowa. She completed an intensive three-year podiatric medicine and surgical residency at the North Chicago Veterans Medical Center, Great Lakes Naval Base, and the Madison Veterans Medical Center. Christine’s first two years of practicing medicine were spent in Alpena, Michigan in a private practice covering three northern Michigan counties. She then moved back to Chicago to practice podiatric medicine and surgery where she married her husband, Micheal from Buffalo Grove, Illinois. They were married in the Chicago suburbs, and have a twelve-year-old daughter, Chloe. They also have two dogs, Clover and Riley, and a cat, Simon. When Christine is not working she is kept busy with her family, Chloe’s numerous activities, and her husband’s family activities. She enjoys being outdoors, gardening, running with her dogs, riding a bike with Chloe on the numerous Illinois bike trails, and travels back to North Dakota to spend time with her family, and friends, and enjoy the outdoors of the northern plains.
